Some days ago, I wrote a
feature with the name of “Real tussle is about to begin…” At that time, I
thought that if first round of WC 2015 was so good that what about the second
round where all big sides are playing against each other but now I feel that I
was wrong because if I compare 1st round with the 2nd
one, 1st is ahead by a great margin, as all favorite teams are
through the finals. We didn’t see even one such contest according to which we
can say that yes, this was hand to hand finish. All matches were just flat kind
of victories.
Now, when 2nd
round i.e. quarter finals have been completed and winning teams are through the
semifinals, we just hope that some good contests will be seen and hope we’ll see
some good cricket. In semi-finals
- At Eden Park, Auckland New Zeeland will take on South Africa on 24th March, 2015.
- At Sydney Cricket Ground, India will take on Australia on 26th March, 2015.
