South African grip was just too hard for Sri Lanka

South Africa Vs Sri Lanka (Game played on 18 Mar,2015)
Guess what happened today, in the 1st quarter final of the WC 2015? One of the favorite teams of WC i.e. Sri Lanka got all out at just 133 runs in 37 odd overs. Who even could think of starting the quarter final like this? But yes, we can say that game is game and one team has to win at the end. It was not a quite ideal start for Sri Lankan team, when Kaushal got out and following him, the other in-form opening batsman Dilshan got out by a wonderful delivery of Styn. Sanga and Thirmane put some runs on the board but after Thimane dismissal by Imran Tahir, hail from Pakistan, there was a line of all Sri Lankan players. They merely crossed three figures and all got out at just 133 runs.
In this disaster, major part was of Imran Tahir’s and JP Dumny’s 4 wickets each, especially hat-trick by the later one pushed Sri Lanka against the wall. Sanga, in his last ODI innings, played a slow innings of 45 off 95.In reply, South African openers showed some good hands and scored some beautiful boundaries all around the ground. Especially, De Cock played some beautiful boundaries and made score board flying with the help of Hashim Amla from the other end. Hashim Amla got out due to a brilliant catch of Kolasekra on Maliga’s bowling. After his dismissal, De Cock and Faf made the chase possible in just 17 odd overs. Despite of tremendous batting from Quinton De Cock, Sri Lankan pacers couldn't bowl in the right area so that they might could cause some problems for South African batsman. Instead, young bowlers gave just too many runs and South Africa chased down the target in real quick time.
Now, eyes are on India Versus Bangladesh contest. Will Bangladesh repeat the history of WC 2007 or be a simple opposition for unbeatable India? For answer of these theories and questions, we’ve to wait for few more hours.
